Kiwi Waka Ama (KWA) Singapore is an outrigger canoe club in Singapore founded by a group of New Zealanders in 2019.
We celebrate the spirit of sport, culture, and community - welcoming everyone to paddle, learn waka ama (outrigger canoe), or explore kapa haka (Māori performing art form) as part of our warm whānau (family).
We are not just about competing and doing well - our Kiwi kaupapa (principle) is to use our waka as a foundation for learning, sharing and bringing together people from all cultures.
Club Facilities
We are currently located within Ohana Beach House (Pasir Ris), along the shores of the beautiful Pasir Ris Beach. Our fleet includes:
- 2x V6 Hydras
- 2x OC2 Gemini
- 2x V1 Sonic
- We also provide storage space for members’ personal crafts, ensuring your waka is kept safe and secure
